GWSCF's management team is responsible for all aspects of the management of the Fund. This includes determining the strategic direction, managing assets, acquiring and selling properties, accessing funding and providing appropriate services to investors.

In addition to a dedicated team, GWSCF draws on the wider resources of the GPT Group providing access to specialised services and teams for the benefit of investors.

Career Summary
Nicholas has been involved in property and funds management for 30 years, holding property related roles at BT Funds Management Limited and Lend Lease prior to joining The GPT Group in 2006.

Nicholas is responsible for GPT’s funds management activities. He plays a key role in the development of GPT’s Group Strategy and oversees its Research and Transactions functions. Nicholas is also a member of GPT’s Leadership Team, Investment Committee and Valuation Committee.

Nicholas is a member of the Executive Board of the Asian Association for Investors in Non-listed Real Estate Vehicles (ANREV) and a member of the Property Council of Australia’s Global Investment Group committee. He is also a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.

Career Summary

Anthony’s career in property spans 30 years and over a number of disciplines, including Development, Project, Cost and Investment Management across Australia and the UK.
Anthony is passionate about driving investment performance by creating and sustaining great places for people to use.

In his Head of Development roles at GPT since 2005, Anthony was responsible for delivering several award-winning projects such as Melbourne Central, Rouse Hill Town Centre, Highpoint Shopping Centre and OneOneOne Eagle Street. Most recently, Anthony was responsible for the conversion and delivery of GPT’s development pipeline for Retail and Mixed-Use across the Group’s portfolio.

Prior to GPT, Anthony worked with Lend Lease on some key iconic projects including Penrith Plaza in Sydney and Bluewater in the UK.

David Sleet

Career Summary
David has a diverse background in most aspects of property across various sectors including major retail and masterplanned community projects. Experience over 20 years in the property industry includes asset and portfolio management, development, valuation, leasing and capital transactions.

In his most recent role as Development Manager, David was responsible for the masterplanning of the next stages of Rouse Hill Town Centre – a major transit oriented, mixed use centre in the northwest of Sydney. This included leading all aspects of the project including formulation of the value proposition, gaining development approvals and the acquisition, subdivision and partial on sale of land.

Prior to joining The GPT Group in 2005, David’s previous experience included five years at Lend Lease in a number of retail investment roles.

Paul Caddy

Career Summary
Paul joined the Funds Management team at GPT in January 2015, and is responsible for the forecasting and analysis function of the GPT Wholesale Shopping Centre Fund. Prior to this role he was Treasury Manager at GPT for five years with responsibility for treasury risk management for GPT and the Wholesale Funds.

Paul has worked in the real estate industry in Australia for over 14 years, holding investment analyst roles at DEXUS Property Group and was fund analyst at New City Australia, giving him experience in a number of property sectors in Australia and Asia.

Paul is a Chartered Financial Analyst, having been awarded his charter in 2005.

Simon Lai

Career Summary

Simon joined the GPT Group in April 2015 and leads the finance team for the GPT Funds Management platform, including the GPT Wholesale Shopping Centre Fund. As Financial Controller, Funds, Simon is responsible for the accounting, tax, finance and investor reporting functions of the Funds managed by The GPT Group.

Prior to joining GPT, Simon was with Deloitte for 8 years in their Sydney audit practice, providing audit and accounting related services for a range of clients in the real estate and hotel sectors.
